
We are looking for a talented and experienced Payroll Manager to join our finance team. As a Payroll Manager, you will be focused on technical compliance, policy and governance of the payroll process whilst providing support to other members of the payroll team. You should be equally comfortable delivering on operational goals as well as process transformation.
Payroll Manager Responsibilities:
● Manage the payroll team including the full spectrum of payroll processing
● Transferring relevant payroll information, including journals, to the financial reporting team in a timely manner
● Prepare monthly and annual staff cost budgets
● Complete payroll reconciliations whilst providing reports detailing any discrepancies
● Collaborate with other departments such as HR to help ensure a smooth process for all employees
● Manage the integrity of payroll data and provision of data intelligence
● Be the primary point of contact for all payroll related queries
● Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations and resolves any escalated queries
● Provide back-up to other teams within the finance department and participate in ad-hoc projects as required
● Identify and develop best practices to improve process efficiency and performance
Payroll Manager Requirements:
● 5+ years experience in a payroll department/related role
● Degree level education
● Relevant industry qualifications
● Experience of managing and completing payroll year end procedures
● Extensive knowledge and use of computerized payroll systems
● Excellent planning and organizational skills
● High level of attention to detail
● Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
