We are looking for a keen and talented individual to join our team as a Mortgage Advisor. This role requires an individual who has a keen interest in providing mortgage advice to customers and is hoping to take the next step in their finance career.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality, professional mortgage advice to potential clientele
- Call customers who have made mortgage inquiries, conduct affordability assessments and determine eligibility by correctly interpreting lending policy
- Communicate effectively with customers so that they can make an informed decision on the mortgage and other products
- Maintain high standards of administration including completion of fact-find and suitability letter documentation
- Ensure all regulatory documentation is completed within the required timescale
- Work effectively with mortgage support assistants and support their knowledge and development
- Communicate with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and insurance providers
- Attend monthly results meetings and present results in all targeted areas to your sales manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in a mortgages/financial services environment
- Financial services sales experience with an understanding of compliance regulations
- Ability to maintain and grow new and existing client relationships
- Excellent communicator through common sales channels e.g. telephone, email, video call The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Resilient, self-motivated, and personable
