
A successful compensation and benefits manager will plan, guide, and coordinate compensations and benefits within a company for the most effective results.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and advice managements on matters that include equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment, and discrimination
- Prepare and distribute information to inform all employees of their benefits, compensation, and personnel policiesAdvise and review benefit programs within the company including the integration of benefit programs following mergers and acquisitions
- Organize innovative ways for employees to have a positive attitude towards company programs
- Administer work activities relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relationsIncrease employee quality of life by looking into the most effective and productive benefit programs
- Modify and review benefit policies to make sure programs are up to date, within legal requirements, and competitive with other companies
- Administer compensation policies, government policies, and ways to develop the best compensation plans for employees
Requirements:
- Human resources management, business administration, or a related field requires a bachelor's degree
- Experience as a compensation and benefits manager or in a related capacity of at least 5 years
- Certifications in relevant fields, such as CEBS or SHRM, are preferredBenefits and compensation plans, rules, processes, and related law are all well-understood
- Working in a Human Resources Information System and handling benefits and compensation is a plus (HRIS)
- Excellent organizational and communication abilitiesPeople and project management abilities are essentialStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
