
To manage our HR staff, we're looking for an imaginative and pragmatic chief human resources officer. In this position, you'll collaborate with executives and staff to assess and enhance existing HR policies and processes, ensure that plans are aligned with goals, and recruit and retain top people. To be effective as a chief human resources officer, you must have a strong grasp of corporate culture as well as great planning and organizing abilities. Candidates should have a keen eye for talent, a strong understanding of branding, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and assessing current plans, policies, and procedures, as well as altering them with the assistance of executives and personnel
- New training and development programs are being developed
- Leading recruitment activities and participating in potential hire interviews
- Managing junior and senior employees, as well as organizing meetings with them
- Contributing to a positive business culture that encourages growth and diversity
- Keeping up with government regulations and public policy and modifying firm policies as necessary
- Assisting in the planning of team-building and professional development activities
- Developing and implementing incentives to boost employee morale and productivity
Requirements:
- A master's degree in human resources management, strategic management, business administration, or a comparable discipline
- A Ph.D. is preferable
- A certificate in senior professional in human resources (SPHR), human resource information professional (HRIP), or anything similar may be useful
- Worked in both junior and senior HR positions
