
We are looking for a keen and talented individual to join our Procurement team as a Procurement Manager. This role requires an individual who has wants to further develop their career in procurement and can direct their team to provide meaningful procurement solutions and deliver against key performance indicators.
Responsibilities:
- Direct a team to develop and coordinate a cost-effective and ever growing supply chain for locally managed goods and services
- Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams such as supply chain, planning, marketing, IT and sales, and customers
- Implement supplier agreements/contracts, by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers as you reach an agreement on contract terms and conditions
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met Maintain a database of contract files and use them as reference for the future
- Analyze da produce reports and statistics on spending and saving results monthly
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Extensive operational experience within a procurement team
- Previous people management and project management experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with common procurement systems
- Strong analytical ability
