We are looking for a talented and experienced Junior Web Developer to join our software team. As a Junior Web Developer, you will be working on a number of projects and building on your skills whilst exploring new tech and delivering projects to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of current in-house platforms
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Providing technical support for the Development Team and to the other departments in the company
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Contributing towards the future technologies which can be used for our websites and platforms
- Completing web development tasks in our backlog on time and to a high standard
- Optimizing areas of the business with web development
- Automating manual processes to improve productivity in the business
- Manage internal design system and storybook components
- Maintain and implement new features and pages for websites
- Follow coding standards and best practice within the development cycle
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in a relevant role
- Experience developing high-quality dynamic visualizations, charts, dynamic tables and interactive maps
- Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Creative thinker
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage your own workload
- Excellent at keeping relevant team members up to date on project status
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
