We are looking for an experienced credit analyst to join our team. As a credit analyst, you will be in charge of assessing financial information and making credit decisions for clients.
Credit Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial situations and determine their creditworthiness
- Assess the customer’s credit history and evaluate the risks associated with it
- Collect customer’s financial information and verify this accordingly e.g., expenditure, earnings, repayment history
- Give advice and recommendations regarding borrowing applications
- Work closely with the credit management team
- Create financial reports and present findings to or management team
- Review customer’s credit limits and evaluate whether or not they can be increased
- Reconciliation of credit files and review of any differences
Credit Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant field
- Min. 2 years experience in credit analyst or related role
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in MS office
- Excellent IT and numerical skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Strong analytical skills
