What do you wish you knew when you started your professional career?
I wish I knew more about owning ‘yes’s and ‘no’s and that ‘yes’ comes with responsibility and knowing your limits. I wish I knew that I might have to say ‘no’ to things in my career, too, and make choices, and that might come with experiencing loss.

According to you, what is the role of Technology in HR?
Technology plays an important role in HR. Technology in HR management is another application of companies using hardware and software to aid human activities. Companies use all types of technology in human resource management. interfacing IT / HR duties – Onboarding recruitment, leave apply, expenses, payroll, etc. HR technology provides managers with decision-making tools to help manage costs and enables them to reduce the time spent on administrative and legal compliance work while maintaining an efficient and effective workforce to deliver quality service

If you could automate only one thing in your job, what would it be?
Managing staff data and onboarding.
How do you keep track of the performance of the people you're in charge of?
- Keep an ongoing performance document that has clear objectives / KPIs set for the year.
- Set regular meetings with the job holder to check on whether they are on track/ off track, get 360 feedback from stakeholders round the year ( at least twice in a year).
- Document the feedback and share it with the Job holder.
