
We are looking for a keen and talented individual to join us as a Compliance Officer. This role requires an individual who has experience in a compliance role and is looking to assist senior compliance officers in the monitoring of regulatory and legal requirements of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Design and perform regular monitoring and auditing and design new procedures and protocols on behalf of the organization
- Continue to develop and improve the company’s compliance program to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Investigate complaints independently, promptly, fairly, and in accordance with company policy and within regulatory guidelines
- Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them
- Perform compliance audits to determine whether establishedh protocols are being followed and where they can be improved
- Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities
- Ensure that all employees are educated on the company’s latest compliance policies
- Develop and maintain a compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions
Requirements:

2+ years prior experience in risk management, compliance, or similar role

Good knowledge of current legal requirements and procedures

Superior attention to detail in order to identify and correct risky practices

Strong time management and organizational skills and able to meet deadlines

Experience in dealing with external queries from auditors/regulators
