We are looking for a keen and talented individual to join our team as a Forensic Accountant. This role requires an individual who has excellent investigative skills with a strong knowledge of accounting. You will be responsible for detecting accounting irregularities including fraud and be able to summarise findings into detailed reports.
Responsibilities:
- Review financial documentation to identify inaccuracies
- Analyze financial models using transactional data and/or financial data and trace any discrepancies
- Develop client deliverables and make valuable contributions to expert reports
- Manage client relationships and communicate results as appropriate
- Investigate complex business cases to minimize risk
- Provide litigation support and present findings to be used as trial evidence
- Perform regular financial record audits to ensure compliance with the law
- Ensure all accounting procedures follow legislation
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Forensic Accountant or similar role
- Understanding of forensic auditing procedures and regulation
- Strong work knowledge with accounting software and spreadsheets
- Commitment to producing high-quality analysis and attention to details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to work within a team environment with an entrepreneurial flair
